The Desktop Enrollment Unit is designed to handle the task of enrolling or entering employee data into the Sentinel - Manager. Sentinel - Manager manages the Compact Controller and the Time and Attendance units.
The Enrollment unit may be attached anywhere on the Local Area Network (LAN) or Wide Area Network (WAN) and is accessed via the administrative PC.
In a typical installation, the Enrollment unit and administrative PC would be located in the HR department to ensure that as individuals are enrolled, that the rights granted each person are correct for that user. Once enrolled, the individual will automatically be allowed to access specific areas at specific times on specific days. Employees of companies using time and attendance units, will be required to clock in at designated work stations at pre - determined times and days. |

During enrollment, the identify of the individuals will be linked with their card or other code as assigned.
All events from every reader, be it a fingerprint reader, a card reader, a keypad or time and attendance unit, will be logged to a central server which may situated anywhere on the Local Area Network (LAN) or Wide Area Network (WAN). The reports from the logs can be displayed as graphs and lists by the hour, day, moth, year, group, user and reader. |
