The Fingerprint and Keypad combo offers a flexible and secure solution for access control and time and attendance. The unit connects directly to the Compact Biometric Access Controller and the Time and Attendance Units.

The combination reader is ideal for installations where access codes are already in use and/or fingerprint recognition is required. This concept allows the user to immediately use existing keycodes for access or to clock in and gradually migrate to fingerprint recognition only.

Simply entering a code and/or touching a fingertip to the sensor will open the door to an authorized user or allow an authorized individual to clock in for payroll purposes.

This system reduces initial outlay costs because personal identification numbers (PIN) currently in use can be used with the keypad. There is no need for keys or cards to be issued to every user. It is also a more convenient and secure method for the user, as they do not need to carry cards or keys with them.

The system works by decoding individuals fingerprint information into a unique code.
