Accommodates multiple readers - fingerprint readers, cards and keypads
The Compact Biometric Access (BAC) Controller can be networked to interconnect multiple doors at multiple sites - domestically or internationally.
The Compact Controller will accommodate any two readers, which can be the Fingerprint Reader (for Compact BAC), proximity or slide card readers or keypad reader.
The Compact Controller is also designed to drive up to 2 bolts or 2 strike mechanisms or 2 magnetic locks.

Uninterruptible Power Supply: |

The Compact Controller combines a power supply and battery charger; and space for one lead acid battery up to 17 AH. (battery additional)
The Compact Controller can function in applications that require long continuous operation in the event of power failure. When outfitted with batteries, the Compact Controller acts as an Uninterruptible Power Supply. In normal operation, the battery is trickle charged via two mains transformers, to provide for extra redundancy, and feeds the power to the built in Controller. During a power failure, the battery continues supplying power.
The operational time available during a power failure can be extended to 100 times that of traditional systems when outfitted with our Pulse Operated Door Strike or Security Bolt, which require very little power to operate - power is consumed only when the door is opening. |
