Compact Biometric System
The Compact Biometric System is composed of three Products: Access Control for facilities, Time and Attendance and PC Logon. The products may be used separately or together on a network at multiple sites. The system is server based and a stable installation requires appropriate redundancy. The management software and server based database is shared by all three products. No additional software or enrollment is required when products are added.
The Compact Biometric System accommodates users with hard to read fingerprints. There is no practical limit to the number of doors, users or PC's that can be accommodated. The system is designed to function in applications that require long continuous operation in the event of power failure. In normal operation, the battery is trickle charged via two mains transformers.

Access Control:
The Access Control Product will accommodate up to two devices: a Fingerprint Reader, prox or slide cards or keypads or combinations of up to three readers. The controller will drive up to 2 bolts, 2 strike mechanisms or 2 magnetic locks. The controller combines a power supply and battery charger.

Time and Attendance:
The EyStar Time and Attendance system , based on fingerprints makes it simple to collect time and attendance information. Clocking in/out errors, “buddy” punching and the time required to reconcile paycheck errors will be reduced.
To clock in or out, the employee simply places their fingertip on the fingerprint reader. Additional devices such as cards or keypads are not required. All events from the time and attendance system are collected by a central server, which may be situated anywhere on the LAN or WAN. Each reader has its own IP address. Each unit has a power supply and battery recharger. A card based system is available.

PC Logon:
A touch of a fingerprint eliminates the need for pesky passwords. This system also utilizes the shared Compact System database and software. |
