Cabling - Cable between Power Supply/Charger and the EntryGuard is a 2 wire multi strand 18AWG UL listed cable which carries 12 Volts. The maximum distance is 150 feet. |
The Reader is connected with a 3 twisted pair wiring 20 AWG UL listed ending in a RJ12 (6pin) connector either side. The maximum length is 40 feet. All voltages and signals are below 5 volts.
The door strike requires 2 wire multi strand 18AWG UL listed cable which carries 12 Volts.
